The Regina Monologues

The Regina Monologues

Join three Catherines, two Annes and one Jane for an evening you won’t soon forget!
St Georges Hall, Liverpool on Saturday 15th April

“Divorced. Beheaded. Died. Divorced. Beheaded. Survived…”

The wives of Henry VIII have been vilified, dehumanised, researched and written about since the earliest days that that particularly gargantuan monarch ruled in England over five hundred years ago! Now Chalice Productions presents six modern women sharing their most intimate, hysterical and often heart-breaking stories and memories of the one man that they all have in common, delivered from the rooms in which they have all lived their very different lives.

“The Regina Monologues” is a fun, frantic and passion-fuelled contemporary take on a tale that we all think know so well. Giving voice to the women behind the stories and the iconic images, each monologue is told with passion, humility, grace and at times a devastatingly brutal honesty. This is one ‘Girls Night In” you don’t want to miss!

The production will run for one night only at St Georges Hall, Liverpool on Saturday 15th April 2017.

The performances will begin at 7:00pm, with doors from 6:30pm (via north entrance
opposite the Library).

Tickets are available from: www.Ticketquarter.co.uk, priced £15 (plus booking fee)
