Chiz Turnross

I went to the private view of the View Two Gallery to see Chizz Turnross. I was absolutely overwhelmed by his depiction of glacial meltdown, with all the endangered species of animals: what a wonderful piece of social art.

The colour scheme was excellent - a big canvas using oils and acrylics. The theme - the time is night - could not be done any better, showing the rest of the animal kingdom on meltdown and posing a serene urgency message to the spectator and to the rest of humanity. This is our responsibility; take heed.

As one artist to another I’d liked to say well done for a great piece of social art. I do believe social art is here to stay.
