Work shown includes a stunning collection of folk art images by Michael Watts. They are spontaneous, primitive images depicting life and creative forces. Sublime forms emerge from the canvasses like vessels of energy. These pictures contain the excitement and the wonder of a festival.
Red Wood, Calderstones Park by Kate Lloyd, offers up simple landscapes with dreamlike qualities that are captured through the intensive veils of colour and light.

Relax into this experience with the assistance of paintings of reclining figures by Sue Lucine. The images almost dissolve into their own space evoking sensations of being at the same time hidden and seen (take care you don’t stand too long, you’ll block the doorway)

A series of abstract images by Jason Jones create for me an impression of transient movement and time. Take a look and see what they can do to you.
