Artist Profile - Fiona Brett Blything

I have been involved in art and design all my life, both in industry and in education, although it is only in the last few years I have had the opportunity to develop my own painting and mixed media work on a more full time basis.

I am interested in colour, forms and pattern, hoping to catch a bit of the magic of the natural world around us and inside our minds and spirits.

Some of my work is based on the classes I teach at Ness Gardens in the Wirral, which are inspired by the natural environment of the planting there.

There is such a rich world to look at that I could be trying to interpret our interactions with it for many years.
