1912: The Syndicalist prints 'Don't Shoot' leaflet, by Fred Bower, urging soldiers not to fire on striking workers (see also: 27th June 1904)

Tom Mann is arrested 21 March after using this in a speech in Salford in support of striking miners. Trial takes place on 9 May and he is sentenced to six months. He is freed after six-weeks by public protest.
