Hoof!

Rejects Revenge Theatre Company and Spike Theatre
Unity Theatre, 30th January 2006

I have a confession to make. I've seen this show before and I liked it so much the first time that I had to come and see it again. Though technically speaking I haven’t seen it before. Confused? Let me explain.

Hoof! is an entirely improvised show that involves five comedians, a talented light man and two musicians. As they say: ‘Nothing is planned. No two shows are the same. The performers, musician and lighting designer are all improvising before your very eyes.’

Once again the quality of the show was outstanding. Hoof! must be a very nerve-wracking show to perform, yet the comedians seemed at ease with the audience and one another. This spirit kept the momentum up through two forty minute acts. It would be pointless to explain what I saw, as it will never be seen again. If you want cutting edge, immediate theatre that will make you laugh so hard it hurts, go and see Hoof!

Hoof! will be performing at The Unity again on February 28th and March 20th.
