art05 will take place on Thursday, 24 February 2005 at FACT and the Independent District in Liverpool. art05 is the essential event for the arts in the north west, held in partnership with the Northwest Regional Development Agency, BBC and in association with Liverpool08, European Capital of Culture.

art05 will provide a spotlight on the arts in the North West and a platform for showcasing their strength and diversity. Packed into one full day it includes the art05 x.change and the art05 debate - held in association with the BBC and chaired by Alan Yentob. The day climaxes with the announcement of the winners of the £10,000 art05 awards at the art05 awards party.

Enter the art05 X.change - Deadline 19 November

Building on the success of the Market which took place earlier this year at art04 at the Contact Theatre, Manchester. The art05 X.change is taking place to promote the arts, arts organisations and those working in the broadest sense in the arts. The X.change is an opportunity to network, promote yourself, your organisation or project, a place to launch new ideas and initiatives and to spot new opportunities for creative and business collaborations.

The art05 X.change is free to take part in. Entry forms for the art05 x.change are now available to download from www.artscouncil.org.uk/art05. Enquiries to art05@artscouncil.org.uk

Deadline for entry forms is November 19.
