An Eye
For Music
Bob Iddon
The Kif Gallery, 23a Parr Street
18th November - 16th December 2005

Having already played host to a selection of Liverpool photographer Bob
Iddon’s collection of pictures of protest and direct action around
the UK, the Kif now has an exhibition of Bob’s other great photographic
passion - music.
It is a selection of around thirty images - from the heaviest of metal
to harpists and everything in-between. Covering performers from the famous
like Stiff Little Fingers to tribute acts, local bands and seemingly every
type of music.
The pictures are as varied as their subjects; from the classic rock pose
portrait, lit-up in full colour to more intimate pictures focusing on
the details of individual instruments and facial features, plus more abstract
shots with the colour drained from them.
This is a show that captures the visual impact of music well in a variety
of styles.
