Statement:

I live in a westernised society where external appearances seem to be the most important aspect of every day life. During eight years of working within the fashion industry, I experienced this to its extreme.
I want to challenge this preoccupation and open people’s eyes and minds to a different way of seeing beauty and beautiful things. This doesn’t mean a perceived beauty but an explored and deeper consideration of the concept of beauty.
We all strive for the same things: love and happiness, and if we can open up to all that is around us, we can gain pleasure from the mundane every day obsessions of everyday life. Beauty is not just in the eye of the beholder.
