Album by Cattle & Cane

Reviewed by Lynda-Louise Tomlinson - 13/8/2015

Collectively known as Cattle & Cane, singers Joseph and Helen, along with Fran, Vin and Tom, have released their second single from their forthcoming debut album Home. The band have gained support from the likes of Janice Long, Dermot O'Leary, Amazing Radio, and had their video premiere for 'Come Home' on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch.
The album' opening track Skies is a feel good uptempo blend of harmonies and optimism and follows the release of their first single, Come Home, a tale of love and loss with a chorus fit for summer festivals.

Middlesborough based Cattle & Cane have become local heroes in their hometown, a status emphasized by their forthcoming headline gig at the town's 1000 capacity Teeside University on September 18th to celebrate the release of debut album Home.

Home is an album of feel-good ballads and uptempo pop tunes with a slight leaning towards contemporary blues via their song The Poacher.

With over 100,000 hits on YouTube and their own range of tea (available on tour) Cattle & Cane are definitely on the road to major success. Alongside their hometown show, the band will be touring the UK throughout October.
