The UK's biggest festival of African and Caribbean music and culture - which dates back to 1992 - held another successful event at Sefton Park.

Among the main acts who appeared were Omar, Frankie Paul, Cumbia All Stars, Sarabi, Diabel Sissokho and Merki Waters.

Among the DJs who took part was Andy Kershaw.

yes good pictures very brief review, though we should add that the music is second to the festival in uniting black and white culturally celebrating the unity of the city at a time of great disparity in wealth and choices for people Liverpool leads the way to promote harmony through this free cultural event that boosts the community relations and sends a message out good vibes for the whole community to enjoy long live Africa Oye
