LCAD Grants for Arts Groups

The Liverpool Centre for Arts Development (LCAD) has been supporting individual artists and community arts groups since 1984.

The only centre of its kind in the UK, it has been the starting point for many successful creative entrepreneurs.

Liz Lacey, the Director, says, “We are unique and provide a specialist service for the people of Liverpool and Merseyside. I hope the Culture Company will appreciate this, perhaps with some input from Warren Bradley, who is a Trustee. He has been very supportive and understands what we do.

“A new project for LCAD this year has been providing outreach and support for community organisations wishing to take part in the celebrations leading up to 2008, and who have plans and ideas for running their own artistic/creative projects.

“Grants of up to £5,000 can be applied for by the organisations who meet the criteria. For more information, visit the website of our partners, the Merseyside Community Foundation”: www.cfmerseyside.org.uk

Liverpool Centre for Arts Development is at 2a Franceys St, off Brownlow Hill.
