Liverpool Arts and Culture Network

Following an open meeting called in December, the Liverpool Arts and Culture Network would like to inform individual arts and cultural practitioners that the Network Steering group have agreed to facilitate bi-monthly forums. The network has also introduced an associate membership specifically for people working within the context of the voluntary, community and faith sectors.

The first meeting will be held in March (date and venue to follow). The meetings will be an opportunity for the Strategic Issue Partnership [SIP] representative to feed back information on decisions being made that affect the cultural sector in Liverpool - eg. arts funding, Capital of Culture issues. Members present will be able to air their views, these views will then be taken forward and fed back by the network rep at the following SIP meeting.

Registration forms for individual arts and cultural practitioners can be obtained from the community network team on 0151 2367728, and their address at: Catalyst Creative Media office, Bronte Centre 18 -22 Trowbridge Street, Liverpool, and the foyer of Liverpool Arts Property Trust, 85 Duke Street, Liverpool. Forms will shortly be circulated through local libraries and any organisations wishing to pass on registration forms should contact network facilitator Caroline Black on 0151 2367728. All other enquiries regarding the Arts and Culture network should be directed towards the facilitator at caroline.black@liverpoolcss.org
