Introducing Celtic Bazaar

Music by Vin Finn
Every third Friday of the month, 2014
The Pilgrim (upstairs) in Pilgrim Street

Celtic Bazaar started life in 2008 with a series of contemporary folk and blues concerts at the Old Police Station in Lark Lane, featuring Frank Keenan, John Brindley , Dermot Rooney, River Niger Orchestra, Blue C, Gypsy Brothers, Forty Four, Dermot Rafferty, with residents Red Cow Junction.

Currently, in collaboration with Bling Studios, they are arranging monthly events, every third Friday, nights of music at The Pilgrim (upstairs) in Pilgrim Street, off Hardman Street, Liverpool city centre, under the banner of 'Cohesion'.

The aim of the nights is to present the best of music with the emphasis being on supporting local, emerging and established singer/songwriters and bands. Guests so far have been: Joe Maddocks, Kalika, That Irish Band, Saxo Luciano, De Cuba Band (as seen busking in Church Street), The Weave, Mikey Kenney, Gabrielle MacRae (originally from Portland, Oregon) and Reece Goldstein (poet).

Celtic Bazaar/Bling Studies are particularly keen to feature musicians and poets from the magical mix of ethnic groups that can be found in Liverpool and its hinterland.

Each Cohesion night includes an Open Mic slot and any musician(s) interested in playing are invited to contact Celtic Bazaar or come along to one of the nights.
