Become The Media

New course on feature writing
Starts Thursday 30th April, 1pm till 4pm
Liverpool Central Library

"I went along to the taster session and found I was soon discussing my ideas and started to realise how I could get these ideas out there"

Write features that make a difference

After a productive taster session at Leaf Cafe, Nerve and WEA are expanding this session into a 21 hour course. The course begins on Thursday 30th April at Liverpool Central Library at 1pm till 4pm. It will involve building a wide range of skills together. We will hope to concentrate on feature writing as well as looking at how we can make a positive impact on the media. Discussing how the media operates and how we can contribute to an alternative will be a part of the course but there will be a practical element as we look to put your ideas into practice through Nerve. There will also be opportunities to discuss the media and practice interview skills with guests who have engaged or worked within the media. Current level of writing experience is not important. Willingness to support others in producing their work is the main focus.

If you want to get involved then contact Nerve with any queries or enrol through the WEA site.
